Now that Crysis 2 is gone from steam, does that mean I will no longer receive updates/patches through the steam software? Do I have to use my CD-Key on Origin to get the patches? Or can I do it manually?

I prefer Steam simply because I have most of my games on that service and I don't want to have two separate gaming clients. Not to mention I have lots of friends on Steam. So I'd like to keep Crysis 2 on Steam as long as they offer their download service (which they still do.)

Steam will continue to download patches and let you download Crysis 2. Confirmed by CryAdam on the Steam forums
