Hi!

I played Fallout 3 for quite some time and i enjoyed it immensly, but after a while i started to cheat using the console. and it got so booring yet i could not stop

and when i started to play Fallout New Vegas. I instantly set it to hard and hardcoe i played until level 12 or so before i cheated the first time. But since the codes are the same from fallout 3 i do know then all.
I try to stop myself but it's so easy, trust me i try, but when i have done it once it's easier the second time. because i already cheated.

So my question is this. Is there a way to scramble the Console thus making it inert. or is there a mod or other way to completly turn it of.

I would love to play the game over and over again since it's awesome but i have trouble controlling my self from cheating, and ruining my own fun. I suppose most of you will laugh/troll me but yes i cannot help it and i need help!

First thing is admitting you have a problem right?

Every time you open the console slap yourself

Head to the New Vegas directory(Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas), open up Fallout_default.ini, and edit the line bAllowConsole=1 to bAllowConsole=0.

No more console.

Try FalloutPrefs.ini instead.

I don't have that Ini file! =(

It's in my users\USERNAME\documents\games\FalloutNV folder

I know this is kinda to the extreme but you could buy the xbox360/ps3 version, no tempation there.
