Question about the Skyrim demo @ PAX

Post » Sat Aug 27, 2011 2:40 am

So here is the schedule for Skyrim on Saturday:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Unicorn Theatre
Saturday 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Game Director Todd Howard guides you through the world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in this exclusive PAX demo running live off the Xbox 360.

http://www.destructoid.com/the-dtoid-show-is-live-from-pax-right-now-209901.phtml?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Destructoid+%28Destructoid%29 is one of the streams that I could find for PAX. Does this mean that we get to see the demo streamed live too? I just want some clarification on this. Thanks!

If I get to watch an hour of Skyrim live from the comfort of my home I will die of happiness

In other words, I have no clue.

We're going to be doing more livestreams tomorrow and the day after, same time, same place. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to get our full coverage of cool PAX stuff!

That's what it says under the stream. Sure it LOOKS obvious but it has happened before, where it looks like something is gonna happen, but then it curves on ya. That's how they get ya to watch streams. I.E. QuakeCon

I wouldn't think so. Sites say that to get subscribers, just like how sometimes members try to advertise on the forums to get subscribers

I thought Todd had handed the PR reins to Pete until the game was done. Is that correct that Todd is doing the demo or is it Pete? If it's Pete, I may be interested because it sounds like he does some character creation and does different things from the demo we've all seen before judging by the Gamescon articles.

It says same time, same place under the video, so I would assume once PAX starts, they pull the placeholder video and put up the stream

well if you go to youtube, there is a video that named, "Pre-PAX Spectacular! Dead Island, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2, Assassin's Creed & SKYRIM DEMO OMG!"

As I watch the video it said that they would live stream PAX for the people that can't be there. They will be doing a lot of things with different games for the weeken and supposedly Skyrim demo is one of them

I must be blind, because I don't see the time under the video...Are you talking about the whole livestream, or just Todds presentation?

I guess the whole livestream.

Thats what this thread is for, I am making sure this is rock solid, and not just a website's way of saying "Come here!"

Oh ok. I just wanted to know the exact time, because I got things to do. But I am definitely going to put time aside to watch Skyrim gameplay, both Saturday and hopefully tomorrow.

Did you notice he said the times, the same (7:30 PM PST) tonight, tomorrow and Saturday? Sounds a bit fishy.
