Question about time travel

So, Aulakauss haz a question for all the lore buffs out there.

Been pre-creating characters for TES:O recently, playing them in Skyrim and Morrowind to iron out personalities and such and something occurred to me. I was wondering if, abiding by lore, it's possible for these little 'practice' characters' adventures to have actually happened at some point in the their lives (excluding various forms of immortality especially as it'd be a backwards continuity in some cases; eg: Skyrim from their PoV happened first).

Nords used an elder scroll to send Alduin forward in the timestream once but what other ways could this work? Dreamsleeve translocation or some other form of advanced magickal practice? Or could a scroll send a mortal back in time? Any way this might occur accidentally?

Ach! This was supposed to be in TES Lore. I hit 'New Topic' in the wrong tab. Could a mod kindly move this there?
