ok so id love to play redguard, but as most know, bethesda doesn't sell the game anymore, it's on a floppy disc only (besides a demo) that you cannot buy in any retail stores. the only way to get redguard full game is to ebay it or amazon it. but my question is since that's the case, why can't we just download it? i am not syaing i will, it's a simple question, and i'm looking for a serious answer..i mean bethesda is not going to get ANY of the money if i buy it anywhere, since no one sells it. you can't buy it. you have to buy it preowned. since that's the case, i simply don't understand why it'd be illegal to download the game, since no money is being lost at all. i'm not stealing property that can be bought, you can't BUY it to begin with, not at retail. please understand i am not admitting nor endorsing the act of piracy, i simply have a question i'd like answered. thanks.

I think in a few years time Battlespire and Redguard would be available for download. It'll be quite a longer time for Morrowind to reach that point though, but judging by how Arena and Daggerfall were released for download, I don't see why they would stop at Daggerfall.

well yeah probably, i just still don't see why it'd be illegal to DL something that you can't buy anywhere and get the creator profit. bethesda gains no profit at all if i ebay redguard..so why can't I? again, I'm not saying i will, i won't, since it IS illegal, i just don't understand why bethesda wouldn't just let us dl it for free since they gain no profit if i do bite the bullet and buy it.
