A question and two must-have features for the Xbox 360 versi

Question: What in the world does Crysis 2 have to do with Crysis 1?

FEATURE 1. Offline split-screen multiplayer. No excuses, You, the folks at Crysis, screwed up FarCry 2 by leaving this out. Don't do that again!

FEATURE 2. Offline editor. The best parts of FarCry IP were the editor and the ability to play your maps offline in split-screen mode with your friends. Try to include an editor in Crysis 2 - something far better than Bungie's Halo 3 Forge.

Thank you -

Agreed, but I think Splitscreen would cause framerate issues. Either that or they're just lazy.
They don't seem to realise that some people have *real* friends.

Also; online search options. Finding an local host is damb-near impossible in most games, and i'm sure just about every
non-American/british player agrees.

Answer: Its a semi re-boot. Its got the nanosuit some aliens... and yea...

FEATURE 1: FC2 was made by Ubisoft, NOT Crytek. Crytek didnt do anything there. Also, if consoles are JUST powerful enough to run C2, why on earth would they be powerful enough to run it twice?

FEATURE 2: No. Just no. Have you seen the editor? It has like a million features and tons of precise stuff. They would have to re-make the ENTIRE editor. Its NOT going to happen - its just too hard. Get the PC version and enjoy the awesomeness that is Sandbox.

Crysis 2 will have offline splitscreen for up to 4 players, Far Cry 2 was made by ubisoft, so Crytek had nothing to do with it. the Cryengine 3 sandbox editor is far too advanced for consoles, and it would be a massive waste of effort to port a version of it to consoles.

I hope that a gutted version of the sandbox can make its way to the consoles. :)

Nothing has been announced about the split screen though. I doubt it will be added because of resolution and frame rate issues.
