A question on DLC

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:28 pm

Do you guys think the inevitable skyrim dlc will be like the Fallout ones, that we go on to explore other places ?

I believe it's better to let the player explore new areas,as there are lots of oportunities to take the outside of skyrim, like a DLC with a part of hammerfell that you have to help the empire conquer it or help the redguards hold it...things related to the whole Thalmor-Empire conflict and all that.

Thoughts?

It would be only logic to provide us with tons of DLC including different places?
Skyrim sold a huuuge amount of copys, blew the shooters outta the water, looking at the amount of players who logged on Steam and played Skyrim.

I hope, fallout dlc is the best. And I liked how you go to whole new places and other quests, guns, and loot.

Cheers

now lets not get over board now BF3 and MW3 have still sold more then Skyrim one of which can't watch on steam and the other isn't liked by most of the PC fanbase (at least not as much as 360 players)

But on topic Todd said DLC's will be larger I would suspect them to be like Shivering Isles

Skyrim needs an "underdark", an underground world that spans the entire landmass only its one big maze full of underground cities, dwemer ruins, dark elves that are evil, evil dwemers that only live underground, lots of new creatures adapted to the dark. I would love to get lost in an underground world for like days and days with little hope of finding my way out, that would be awesome.

I think having a portal to a location on one of the moons thats only active during a certain phase of the moons would be cool. How about a black tower thats like a maze inside with many levels to get to the top and have to battle through lots of really nasty creatures to get to the portal. Or maybe it could be an oblivion portal. A giant black monolithic citadel visible for miles and miles and towers into the sky, what secrets does it hold? Who built it? And why? I wish I were a game designer sometimes.

Well, during the current events (4E 200~) Orsinium is trying to officialy become an imperial province.
I think that would be a good plot for a DLC,no?

Whatever they do, I know it'll be good. That is my thought on this subject.

Let's not bring TES to much into the Forgotten Realms now... Drizzt is cool and all, but blatantly ripping of another RPG game is just wrong.

That... surprisingly sounds completely bad ass.
