Question on Dragonplate/Dragonbone Armors

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 10:30 am

I was wondering if I had to forge them since I've only found two pieces in my 200 hours playing through; at level 61 as well. Or is there any place I could have them made, bought, or actually found?

You've actually found Dragon Armor? I wasn't aware there was any pieces of it to be "found." To the best of my knowledge, you need to forge the whole set. You use dragon scales, and dragon bones. You also need a smithing level of 100, which really isn't that hard to get to. If you've got 30 free minutes, and a good amount of gold you can get it that high pretty easily.

EDIT: Besides, you should learn smithing anyways. With a smithing level of 100, you can boost the damage of your weapons a whole lot, and the armor rating of your armor by a lot too. It's very useful.

yea you can find pieces, but they wont be enhanced versions of armor, just dragon plate/scale etc, and maybe an enchantment.
