question on enchanting perks

I see the individual perks for fire, frost and shock, but does anything cover the all around resist magic enchantment?

Nope. It can only be used on shields, amulets and rings though, so you won't be getting a huge amount of resist from it in the first place.

If you're a mage, shock and frost will hurt you badly. If you're a warrior, 2 items enchanted to have 80% frost damage, ignore shock and fire if you like.

Frost slows you down terribly, and cryomancers cheerfully turn you into mincemeat. Hate those buggers!

Say I double it up on rings and amulets, double the resistance? New to the whole enchanting thing. Tired of getting one shotted with icicles thru the chest tho lol

That's probably your best bet if you want more resistances, get the final perk in the Enchanting tree and stick two on the one item.

If I were you, I'd ignore those elemental perks and focus on the middle row, and doubling your enchantments effects, and the number of enchantments per slot.

I don't really wanna enchant, never did in Oblivion. Not a big magic user. Healing and Candlelight is about as far as it goes. So skill increases don't really apeal to me. These Mage's tho, and Dragonpriest...they've had me running for my life all 90+ hours of gameplay.

They have us all running. There are items that you can find in the game that can help. potions, rings, armor can all help you survive.
