Can you change the view? ie distance of camera from behind your character like in the first game?

how big is the world compared to TW1?

It seemed like the camera was static, but I traded it in after 4 hrs of gameplay. If you haven't purchased this yet I would suggest renting first. Sorry to be a negatron.

the camera is fixed as far as I can tell
though it's a bit too sparatic, locking on can be disorientating because the lock on is (oddly enough) the same button you attack making the game very awkward sometimes and forcing you to fire at something you had no intention of firing at.

the world is huge, you'll be pleased by the size. The game has some very good concepts and for the most part plays fairly well.

The camera is fixed. And no, the game is not bad or rent only quality, it is very good and well worth playing for any rpg fan.
