I'm going to get my copy after school, which is in the late morning.

I pre-ordered from Amazon, release date arrival at my doorstep.

I've had better luck with Amazon than gamestop in the past.

I'll be at Gamestop no later than 9:00pm to pick up my copy...that's IF I hear the PC version will actually unlock at midnight EST. I'm worried, with Steamworks, that the unlocks won't actually start until sometime later in the morning, in which case it would be a total waste. I don't want to come home with a worthless brick

I don't understand these midnight releases. I've never been aware they actually do them in the UK. If they had a midnight release for every game the store would practically never close.

They only do midnight releases if they get a certain number of pre-orders. So it's really only for the most popular games.
