Some of us have mediocre lives, we often wish that we were somewhere else.. But do we truly mean it? So you're transported this very second into a room with two doors. You know where they lead, one leads to Skyrim and the other leads back to where you were before, Earth. Take heed, you don't get to pick a new race or a new set of skills. You are who you are at this very moment. You do however get to pick which hold you are transported too. And no, you can't go to Morrowind or Cyrodiil, except if you choose to travel there from Skyrim.

I would take my chances and go to Skyrim. The promise of an afterlife, the culture would be too much too refuse. Be honest, which door do you take?

I would take my chances in Skyrim, I'm already a warrior at heart with some skill in the martial arts and I don't fit in well with modern civilized society....people would think I was a short Nord (I'm 5'9)

That'd be a difficult. It'd probably be very difficult in the beginning, especially when you consider the vast difference of standards between the 2 places.

Where I live there is no such thing as snow, I'd be freezing out there. I'm too old to be a proper apprentice. I don't have a mind for haggling or pricing (no merchanting for me). I can't steal so I couldn't be a thief. I wouldn't have the mind for being a scholar.

My early choices would be either having to join an army, work in an inn, or become some sort of priestess.

Depending on how much time I had to pick between the 2 I would have to really think on it. Life there wouldn't be all that grand but neither is life here.

(If I had a choice of being either born into Skyrim or be born here and re-lead my life then I'd choose Skyrim.)

True but we're not from that world so that magic doesn't flow through us. If it did then I would definitely want to learn magic, who wouldn't? I'd soak it up like a sponge and get corrupted by power like Miraak

Skyrim, I'd get to hit on all the races, except Khajiit and Argonian, I don't think I'd like to sleep with either, might get ticks from one and be very sensitive from the other. Oh and swords are sixy, though I'll miss guns, if I could I'd take a few with me, as I'll need them.

Easy. I would go back home. There's no way I would walk out of this life and leave my children without a mother. Plus I wouldn't want to leave my husband, the rest of my family, or my friends.

Only way I would even consider open the Skyrim door is if I was 110 % sure that I could return to Earth any time. And I mean ANY time. If a troll made a run for me, or right before that bandit decided to rob me (or worse). And in that case, I'm sure my visit to Skyrim would be fairly brief - it would be nice with some sightseeing in the major cities for a few days, maybe shop a little enchanted jewely to bring back home, see the view from Dragonsreach, talk to a Dunmer, stuff like that.
