Question RE: Loot list additions...

I'm working on a pretty slick dual wield-mod atm, and now that I have all the scripting and modeling done I'm curious...

I want to add some of these to the appropriate leveled loot lists, so there's a reasonable chance of seeing them drop from random humanoids in the world. I do not want to make my mod dependent on Bash or other leveled list mergers however, even though its easy enough and those utilities are awesome.

So, first question: If I create a completely new (custom name ala phiironweaponsLL) for each tier of the dual-wield sets I want to add (iron, steel, silver, etc.), and then add those new unique lists to existing leveled lists from the game which are already added to the appropriate NPCs by game default, would I still need a leveled list merger?

Next question (and I know can probably answer this on my own with some CS digging). Say I wanted FCOM/OOO/Mart NPC's to occasionally drop these as well. Do they use the same default loot lists or would I need to establish dependencies to all those mods in order to do it?
