So after a steam sale I finally downloaded the DLC for the game and returned after a long break. (so hi again folks- hope things are going good!)

First things first, well done to the modders, there are some fantastic work out there which really adds to the game!

So here is my question, how feasible is it for someone to create an app for this game to create a second screen experience?

What do I mean by this? Well, imagine you had an app for a tablet which was linked to the game as you play - offering a second screen. (Check out the app that came with Assassins Creed- Black Flag as an example).

The following things are stuff i would love to see in Skyrim!

1. Books can be read on the tablet without pausing the game - read whilst mining/ chopping wood or other activities that dont require full attention).

2. Map and inventory can be used on tablet without pausing the game - keep an eye on the map whilst travelling around!

3. Quick access to weapons, spells and potions without pausing - No need imapct on the flow of battle to use those important potions or swapping weapons!

4. Journal/ spells / stats on the tablet too - another interface that is no longer stopping you see the game!

So much more potential! I hope it can be done!

This would have to be hard coded into the game itself. While the interface is XML driven, so that means you could cook something up like the UI modders do, the game is not designed to out put this information to another application. So, what ever you create would not have any data to display.
