Question, possibly a stupid one as well.

If i simply uninstall the game will that get rid of my mods the reason im asking is because my computer was recently serviced and the memory was wiped luckily before the servcing i backed up my mod files and stuff but unluckily i did it wrong :P so now my textures and stuff are screwin up.

No, uninstalling the game will not remove the mods. You'll have to manually delete the remaining files from the Fallout installation folder.

If it's just textures giving problems and you had to reinstall the game, make sure you've turned the "Loose Files" option back on in the launcher menu "Data Files" section.

This http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=90 shows which folders and files you need to have in your data directory in order to run fallout. If you delete everything else (or at least the unpacked meshes and textures folders) many of your problems should go away. It's also not a bad idea to save a copy of your clean data directory before you install any mods, so that you can paste it in over the old one to pretty much reset everything to normal.

As said by imp and also not a bad idea when you get you data folder modded the way you want it. Make a backup again of that. So thus you can test mods out without having to replace every tiny detail. It svcks because its huge. But then again....its worse when you fudge your game and have to do it ALL over again XD
