Question Regarding DLC

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:46 am

Recently me and a buddy were talking, he just bought fallout 3 as well, but not the game of the year edition (either did i, my town rarely has it). Anyway, he was asking me if you can take the DLC from one console, copy it to a memory card, take that memory card and put it in another console and copy the DLC to the hard drive? I told him i dont even think its possible, and if it is, it would more than likely be considered pirateing? Even though the 2nd disk for the xbox 360 version of fallout 3 has all the DLC and you can let anyone borrow it and then download it to their hard drive.

Answers are appreciated.

Actually i dont have any of the DLC either, im trying to trade someone my 3month card for a 1600 point card since im broke right now, or sell my assassins creed 2 with collectors edition guide for a 4000 point card.

I was only refering to the GOTY edition 2nd disk because i was told that for the 360 version, the 2nd disc has all the DLC, and you can let people borrow it and DL to their hard drives.

It is probably considered piracy, considering whoever gets the DLC will get it without purchasing and owning it.

Thats what i figured.

I guess thats a good thing for 360 owners though, if they have a buddy who has the 2nd disk of the GOTY edition, since they can just install that disk to their hard drives and have all the dlc.

It's still piracy, and even if it isn't enforced on your console, we can enforce it on these forums. I'm going to close the topic before this gets into any kind of justification of piracy.
