how do i get to play crysis 2 in 3d mode. i have a EVGA CLASSY 760-A1 || i7 970 || Prolimatech Mega Shadow || G.Skill F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID @ 2005MHz 6-9-6-24 || Corsair F120 SSD 120GB || WD 640GB 32MB Cache x2 || WD15EARS 1.5TB 64MB Cache x1 || EVGA GTX 580 SC + GB GTX 580 x2 Tri SLI @800/2025 || Cooler Master HAF922 (Soon to be HAF X)|| Corsair AX1200 || 23.6" ASUS VG236H 3D Monitor 1080p @ 120Hz || Windows 7 Ultimate x64 ||

I used to play other games with nvidia stereoscopic 3d mode. but this game doesnt' seem to support this. i tried enabling the 3D option from the in-game menu - side-by-side gives me EXACTLY what it says - 2 screens side by side and interlaced mode gives some sort of flickered image all over.

what do i do in order to play this game under 3d mode provided by the manufacturer. I am aware of few console commands that could give me a good nvidia type 3D but i just wanted to compare with the default one.

please advise me as to what am i supposed to do.

I'm worried about this myself. I have an ACER 3d monitor coming in soon and if Crysis 2 doesn't honestly support 3d, then I'm returning that **** back.

Hi, I play the game with 3d vision.
It pops up that it is not 3d vision-compatible, but when i activate 3d in the options menu and choose "driver" it works whit most beautiful 3d effect i've seen in a game so far.
Maybe you should check for a driver update, idk...

I play in 3D and I don't get any options to change the type of 3D. I can change the enabled/disabled and flip eyes thing.

Do I have to have nvidia glasses to play 3d. I have a samsung 3dtv with samsung glasses.

if you dont have an nvidia 3d vision kit i dont think it will work.

unless your on console that is.

anyway, for me it worked fine ... I enabled 3D in nVidia desktop settings ... started C2 ... and it was automatically in 3D

figure it out ... cuz it's amazing in 3D

+ only 5-10 less fps at highest achievable settings and 1920x1080 (for me with a GTX 285)
+ extreme sharp
+ I had no ghosting

- no possibility to change convergence, but it's ok like it is
- missed some pop out effects

all in all .... it's fantastic

hey, what do you get in your in-game menu at 3D options?? do you get a greyed-out option saying Driver Mode or something else...?? for me; when i enable the 3D at nvidia control panel settings, i get a message saying this app is not rated by nvidia or something like that then i get all sorts of distortion!! and when i go to the in-game menu to change the 3D options, i get a greyed-out description saying Driver Mode...!! and if i dont' enable the nvidia control panel option and go to the game's 3D menu, i get options to activate 3D under many other modes like side-by-side & interlaced...etc...!!!
