Both 1H & 2H skill trees allow for the PC to invest in blunt weapon specialization, with the effect of warhammers (for 2h) to ignore xx% armor on attack.

My question is - will this only be effective against NPC's wearing armor?

Or do the other creatures have a natural armor rating that's ignored? or are all attacks directly affecting creatures health bar? (if ofc no immunity to direct damage, elemental protecion is applicable)

One would think that dragons for instance have armored protection by their natural dragon scales!!
