Question Regarding mod load order

Post » Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:45 pm

Ok so in the spoiler tag is my load order. Other than the official DLC (Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfires) I am not sure how to set this load order. I don't have any problems that I can find so far but it doesn't hurt to have the right order. Three nights agoI found online on another forum (didn't bookmark it) to order these something like; textures, scripts, and misc but wasn't sure if that was correct. Any help is appreciated. :D

Skyrim load order:

Let LOOT do the thinking for you regarding load order.

But why aren't the most important and extremely mandatory mods installed? I'm talking about the Unofficial Patches of course.

Is there a way to organize these without installing some other program? I'd like to streamline this process as much as possible without installing too many things which is why I do not have that many mods.

I like being able to do the restoration glitch every now and again and don't really want to install it. Plus, I don't see that unofficial patch being mandatory since it isn't officially produced by Bethesda.

Basically no one is going to bother helping you solve problems with your game if you don't use them.

I would still help out as much as possible. Of course the unofficial patches do fix a lot of remaining bugs and glitches.

Using Loot or Boss will help with sorting mod load order and will also help out finding if a mod might need to be cleaned or other important information. You do not need to use them but they sure help out a lot and becomes more necessary with the more mods you use.

Thanks for the post and advice, looks like the best solution is to use one of those load managers. And also for being a little more friendly and helpful versus the above. I'll consider this topic [solved] and it can be locked.

*shrug*

You should still use the unofficial patches. I'm not being mean, I'm telling you the truth.

Yes the OP should use the Unofficial Patch(es) since they do fix a lot of bugs and glitches.
