When adding advantages or the opposite, how do I go further into the option.. like with Expertise In... how do I pick anything other then axe? And Increased Magery... how do I make it 3.0?

You should be able to just double-click on your choice. I think that the arrow buttons also work to highlight a choice, and 'enter' should select it.
