Questions about Franscesco

Post » Sat Nov 27, 2010 9:23 pm

Hi, I'm using franscesco and I find it too hard even when the oblivion's difficulty is on the bar's middle. I can only kill the monsters when I use damage health and restore health potions (alchemy is overpowered btw)...

I don't know if the monsters and bandits' levels stay static or they go up with us, I'm level 9 or something and I can't do some mage guild's quests if I don't put the difficulty low... is it supposed to be like that with frans?

I can't remember which parts of Fran's are optional and which ones aren't, but by default Fran's gives quest related enemies a minimum (and maximum) level. He did that to prevent a low level player from completing the main quest or becoming the archmage for example (a level 1 archmage wouldn't make that much sense). If you have problems completing any high level quests simply level up a few levels and get some better gear. It will become easier the stronger you become. That is the whole point of the mod by the way...if you like that everything levels 100% with you then you don't need Fran's (or OOO or almost any other overhaul).

Ok that's what I needed to know, I just thought I was too weak...
