I installed Frostfall and I love it. I have a few questions, though.

1) Does playing as a Nord make it easier to survive because of their inherent resistance to frost?

2) Does having resist frost enchantments help?

3) Do the resist frost perks int he Better Magic destruction tree help?

4) Do resist magic enchantments help?

5) How do I use a tent? I made one but I can't seem to use it.

6) Will changing Skyrim's timescale to half slow the amount of real time in takes for my character to start freezing?

1) a little bit, certainly not enough to play only Nords because of it

2) yes, very much

3) not sure since I don't use it, but probably, anything that gives you resistance to frost in your list of passive effects should help, at least in theory considering how scripting of Frostfall works

4) no, only specifically frost resistance

5) you need to drop it as you'd drop any item from your inventory to the ground, at that point you'll get a message box asking you if you want to drop it as an item or set up a camp. Choose to set it up and you'll get a blue marker in front of you that moves as you do, so find a suitable spot and confirm it.

6) Time scale has zero influence on Frostfall's scripting. Arguably it has some effect, as it makes weather and temp change faster, but I don't think that counts.

Chesko has one of the best resources out of all the mods I've seen. If you have more questions, I suggest you take a look at it. I bet it'll answer those, along with ones you haven't thought of yet.
