2. This is probably gonna be a stupid question but why exactly don't the settlements make sense? I mean there's traveling traders and there's caravan routes and the traders could be bringing stuff in from outside the Capital Wasteland.
3. Okay, I know Vault 87 is pretty much bs. I'm actually pretty sure that originally they wanted to cut it out from the game completely, but decided to include it in the end so that we get at least some explanation for the orc super muties. However, I don't get why it's so impossible for Vault-Tec to have a modified strain of FEV. Since in Fallout 2 they decided to involve conspiracy bs with the vaults(not very clever imo, but what's done is done), it's totally possible that they would just issue FEV to Vault-Tec to see how the orcs would do if they were given a vault and a GECK. Or if it's not the evul government being at it again, then it can be explained away with Vault-Tec stealing it from West-Tek and playing around with it in a vault.
4. People complain about Jet being there. Is it possible that someone from the BoS brought it along and decided to distribute it? It's not like the BoS can't have corrupt members. I agree with the Bottle Cap bs though. Can't we have better currency? Like cigs or something?
5. James mentioned that the CW is a "warzone". Can this be the writers trying to hint that that's why everything's so [censored]? I mean Talon Company's tasked specifically with keeping the wasteland down, V87 super muties trying to expand their numbers and desperately searching for "green stuff", BoS-Outcast hating on each other, raiders, slavers, and everything else. This, paired with the chemical weapons theory would explain why everything's bad.
6. I don't remember RobCo mentioned in the previous games. Was it invented by Bethesda or did I miss something?
Also, I'm not trying to protect Fallout 3, before I'm flamed to death. None of these explanations will make the main plotline and some of the side quests any less half-assed. God, do I hope that the Enclave won't get a major role in Fallout 4.
