Searched but didn't run across an answer. Figured this could be a thread for anyone who is also playing this particular combination, and has any questions about it.

I can't figure out how to Wait.

Help says Y to Wait, but Y just jumps. Tried pressing it, holding it, doing morse code...

Your character needs to be sitting down to be able to wait.

That teaches me to not read the Help more carefully, and assume it was the same as FO3.

For Fallout 3 you could wait anywhere as far as I remember as long as it was not in a hostile area.
