Questions on Bijin, Arissa and ENB preset updating

A bit all over the place but I figure one post is better than three.

With the chilly autumn weather, new version of Inigo and Skysight Skins release I'm freshening up my Skyrim for another go. Couldn't find an answer to this through the search here or on Nexus and it doesn't seem as though the customizers give the option but I figured I'd ask. If using Bijin Warmaidens/Wives is it possible to have options without the Apachii/salon hair? Or is that something that would have to be patched/changed manually myself?

With regards to Arissa, I have version 1.3 installed and have had no issues whatsoever with her. I'm always leery of upgrading a stable(for me) mod to a newer version... Should I keep on with 1.3 or has 2.2.2 added enough content that I would be missing out in not upgrading her?

I use an old ENB preset. Very old. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23765/ I love it but it hasn't been updated in years and I actually get 10+ more FPS with newer presets. Is it madness to try taking that config and applying it to the new binaries? In this case it's probably not a question of IF can be done but whether or not it is worth the time investment to do so. Failing that, if it's a project that would be months (instead of days/a week) in the making, have there been any presets released for the newer binaries that mimic my beloved dinosaur? Realvision, Truevision, Bleak, NLA, Seasons and Phinix I have all tried but they don't make the cut for me.
