I have several quesitons about the hist.
1.) what do yall think happend nearly 300 years ago when the hist where being destroyed?
2.)what did cyrus do to the discredit of the hist? something to do with the eye of argonia? think it had to do with the destruciton of hist trees?
3.)how would cyrus's soul find it hard to pass over because of the hist?

4.)completely out there question but do you think that umbra has something to do with cyrus and the eye of argonia?
it might explain his soul finding it hard to pass over. the deal with clavicus vile. vile said he would meet cyrus again. maybe this is how all the elder scrolls games are going to start comeing together to show a bigger story about what has happend.

1. Give me a reference point by what you mean by 300 years ago. Because 300 years from 4E30 (about the most current date) puts you near 3E200, which was during Mad Pelagius' reign. And I have heard of no Hist being killed off then.
2. That does seem to be the implication, although we haven't heard of anything official whether Cyrus did in fact find the Eye.
3/4. N'gasta was able to establish a soul net over Stros M'kai trapping almost all dead souls from leaving until he himself died. I'd imagine with a grove of trees whom I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be a Tower or something like one could exert enough metaphysical influence to pick out one departing soul and get their revenge would be considerably easy for them.

4. We don't know when Umbra was created. However given the troubles it has given Vile, I'd imagine that Umbra and Vile's interests are similar, but one will not bow to the other. So no.

1)No idea what you're talking about here. the IF talks of the hist purging one rouge tree, so im going to assume thats what you're referring too. I'd think it was some sort of suffocating enterprise, with them crowding in and killing the tree's roots.
2) we don't know. stole the Eye or something.
3) the hist have connections (roots)into the dreamsleave.

4)until the IF, umbra was nothing more than a random NPC you got a cool sword from. So in other words, no.

1.) The Ehlnofey wars were more like 3000 years ago. Elvish Ehlnofey started a fight with Human and beast Ehlofey, and Hist were caught in the middle somehow.
2.) We'll have to wait until Bethesda decides that they could make a [censored]load of money by making Eye of Argonia (I for one would buy it.)
3.) don't the Hist's roots connect is Aethurius?
4.) no.
