Quests to do early/later (As spoiler free as possible please

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 7:00 am

This may have been posted before, I had a look but couldn't find any definitive answers. Firstly, please keep answers as spoiler free as possible. Basically I was wondering if there were any quests that it would be more beneficial to do early, for example a quest where you have to make sure your companions survive in order to gain the best reward and by doing it later in the game it might make it harder to keep them alive. Similarly, are there others that should be left until later for example a quest with a reward that has a leveled enchantment or something. Apologies if this is impossible to answer without spoilers. Cheers

You can get some free Orc stuff in the Orc Strongholds, if your an Orc (#1 race 4eva!) you can go rite in and take that stuff, otherwise a quick quest must be completed, but its free Orc stuff. (In general tho, the Orc camps have TONS of ore in their mines, worth 1000s of gold in each mine, so visit all of them as much as possible)

This is not a quest and only something you learn by playing.

Spoiler

If you are looking for a boost in monetary gain early, do the following:
01. Find the shrine to Zennarith outside of Riften and collect the amulet (10% Bonus to Barter).
02. Use the shrine to receive the blessing. (10% Bonus to Barter).
03. (Optional) Join the Thieves Guild. Piece of armor provides another 10% bonus.

You will start the game with a 30% improved return on all barter transactions and things will cost less too.

There is no other way to put this out there without spoiling things.

Daedric artifacts aren't leveled, they are set. Dawnbreaker will always do 10 extra damage.

Speaking of Dawnbreaker, that quest is best done when it's 1st available at level 12. I did it at level 49 and I only got one high level item out of the loot (Flawless Diamond).
