I have 3 quests that are broken

word of power I got the word but the arrow for the quest is now stuck on the altar and the gray beards will not give me another location.

animal extermation ; I goto the cave but a pack of wolfs killed the monster and now its dead and the quest wont complet.

I tried to raise dead it and hit few times to get it to attack me but still when I kill it the quest don't clear. the olny way is to kill the aelia the huntress that gave it to me.

to make the quest fail I also tried to sleep 30 days in my house then another 30 days in inn's

this dose not work for me because she is my wife my store and a blade member. also when I tell her to move to my other houses she will not move. she stays in sky heaven temple no matter what.

the last one is shalidors insights it does not show the quest marker for the quest at all and to serch 150 or so posable locations is not going to work

this would be the 9th time I have restarted at level 50+ because of quests not completing and or game freezes. I have tried all of the suggested fixes and not a single one has worked. going back to a earlier save is also not a viable answer spend more hours just to have the same thing happen over and over.

I will not restart a 10th time I will toss this game in the trashcan I spent a good sum of cash on this game and I want a fix.. 60$ game 20$dawnguard 20$ dragonborn 20$hearthfire that's 120$ into a what I call an unplayable broken game with many crashes and bugs not to mention the 400+game hours.

my suggested fix is a quest reset option in the menu to reset a quest that's glitched stuck or wont start at all and to remove any items that's involved with the quest.

What system are you on? console or PC?

On consoles, those are unfixable. Sorry. Over time, you just know which quests to avoid.

For the book one, odds are you have the book in your inventory (you may have tried to drop it but can't since it's a quest item). So that's broken. It may also be located on Solstheim if you have the Dragonborn DLC.

The animal extermination one is broken as well of you've cleared it before? Is it Hollowspring something over by Whiterun?

It's generally a good idea to avoid using the Greybeards for the shout locations since they bug out often.

I might be misreading you here, but why are you restarting because of game because of a freeze?

How often are you saving your games? While some are buggy, the animal quest with the bear is only a case of reloading the last save before you entered the cave... I know you're saying that reloading isn't viable, but I don't really follow - when I've encountered the problem, it took a few times, but saving in front of the cave fixed it in the end.

im on xbox 360 and the saves before the cave were gone cause I went I did some other stuff thinking it would reload the animals at a latter time like when the giants and stuff come back to area you cleared

glisting caves just south of white run. I restarted because with the quest marker stuck you cant get more words and or the carior will not bring letters
