Quests that you hate?

Post » Mon Jan 06, 2014 9:30 pm

So there is a lot of quests that you like kind of threads, this is the opposite, what quests did you find boring and maybe tedious? for me it has to be Lost to the ages. first it was bugged so reading the book didnt start it for me, so i had to fix that. then i met an uninteresting ghost, who hyped up the forge like its something marvelous. i spent 4 hours looking around Skyrim for the damnable ruins, and after all the trouble of finding the four pieces and the forge, i found the rewards to be pretty average. i hated the way all three items looked. and their enchantments were bleh. at least for me. its hard to find a quest that is boring in TES but it happens sometimes, so whats yours?

Also faction questlines dont count, were only talking about separate quests.

I really hate how 'A Scroll For Anska' doesn't tell you what the scroll really means. I liked the quest, but I want to know what it says.

I dislike 'Infiltration' quest, because it is pretty much pointless. Stalleo does not live in his castle afterwards and remains at his campsite, leaving his castle open for new bandits to move in.

Dawnguard main quest. It seems to go on forever. I mean the vale is pretty sweet, but yuck. I guess its the whole "vampire" thing.

I would have liked something more... elder scrolls-y.

OH GOD I forgot, "paarthurnaxx"

Actually I change my answer. No stone unturned is the most annoying, tedious quest in Skyrim.

Any quest that is forced down your throat. Like 'The Forsworn Conspiracy' and the first TG mission.

Other than that, 'The Golden Claw' is a major thorn in my bottom.

Yeah,I don't like it when quest are shoved in your face like that either. Why the golden claw though? That was an easy 400 gold, which actually helps when you're a lower level. Although it is weird that Camilla keeps thanking me 2 years after it happened.

Just because it's a quest that gets special attention in order to make a grand first impression.

Plus, I've done the quest 12,781 times.

Dark brotherhood. I would destroy them if it wasn't for Shadowmere or Windshear.

No Stone Unturned as stated above, the most time consuming quest of all times. The rest are fine.

Falmer Hives are one of my favorites, cause they are so dangerous and present a good challenge. Plus I hate the Flamer and their pets.

Bounty quests for giants, 'cause I like giants.

Hunt and Gather, the quest for Wylandriah. I mean seriously, what's so special about that ingot? Can't she use another one? I'd gladly buy her a new one instead of running across the province to bring hers back...

All the Civil War.

Unbound.

Any other quest forced on you.

Bounty for Giants, I love those friendly guys.

Anything involving Dragons, which to say, all the main quest.

The Dragonborn MQ, because I have to do some of the MQ in Skyrim in order to even through it.
