Quets that were bugged for me this beta

I spent this beta in the Dominion and the fo0llowing quests were bugged for me even after many reloads and revisits of the areas over time, I'm on the EU server:

Anchors from the Harbour - Instructions to help Aethil defeat Daedra - The Daedra never spawn.

Long Lost Lore - Haskill never opens the portal to the next phase.

In the Name of the Queen - nothing ever spawns in the north area to defend the priestess from.

The Unveiling - Final boss never spawns.

The Racer - Race never actually starts.

Hope that is of use to someone....

Reported every one of them. This time, I tried out Daggerfall, and there was quite many quests who bugged out.
Also on EU server.

Let me see, if I remember some:

- Getting Verrik (?) and his merry men hiding in crates
- The harpie mother left her roost, and didn't return
- Saving the guardians from evil Earth, Wind and Fire.. bad omen
- Release the nobles by making sure there is no traps.. nope, all traps already removed. come out, nothing can happen

In zone chat, many mused that it was partly due to us being so many, and if people waited too close to spawn point, there would be no spawn at all. Hopefully, it is all due to stress test, and not the normal behaviour from live version *cross your fingers* *knock on wood*

In the name of the queen has now worked for me.

My wife has had some of these work and some others that worked fine for me have not worked for her - and certainly reading this and other forums there is a bit of luck involved.

I'll add one final one - in the return to Coldharbour Lyris is supposed to knock down some rocks to open a path, she is convinced she has done so but the rocks remain

And with that I have sleep a bit before work so I'm done.

Overall a pleasant experience with some 'classic' Beth-type quest bugging. I hope they will focus on fixing these before launch if they can as it would be a shame to launch with flaky quests.

Almost all of the quests that seem to be broken, are a result of server load and the way the phasing system works. Note that I said almost (cuz I wouldn't presume to claim all). Which is the primary focus of the last few rounds of beta. Basically forcing the system to be stretched beyond its limits to make optimizations, then increase hardware resources to pad beyond the optimizations.

Very few of the quests are actually broken due to faulty quest scripting.

That makes sense and would explain why they can be hit and miss from player to player and session to session.

Is the /bug feature broken?

The developers are not checking this forum for bug reports. As mentioned, these are all phasing issues, and the developers are aware of the problem.

Also "Lion Guard's stand", the Aelif quest and the 'opening' of a werewolf town quest chain (which can end with everyone standing around doing nothing).

DC zone is horribly bugged.
