Quick Enhanced Economy question - too cut-throat for me

Post » Tue Jun 09, 2015 8:21 pm

I thought I'd ask this here as the Nexus forum for EE is a graveyard. I just want to ease the cut-throat nature of the mod a little, somewhere between vanilla and this would be better for me, anyone know what I have to tweak in the Ini file?

What do you mean by cut-throat nature? I disable auto-haggling and have cut-throat merchants disabled as well. In EE cut-throat refers to their haggling disposition.

It means: they have very high buy price and very low sell prices.

Gaining money and buy expensive items will be much harder.

I mean with auto haggle enabled the merchants are total cut-throats, buying for peanuts and selling for a fortune. I understand this can be changed but I can't understand the figures in the .ini file.

These are my ini settings and you can test if you like 'em:

; ================== Settings to control Auto Haggle: =====================
; Set minimum and maximum sell percentages
set tnoEE.sellMin to 20
set tnoEE.sellMax to 80
; Set minimum and maximum buy percentages
set tnoEE.buyMin to 100 ; default 150
set tnoEE.buyMax to 200 ; default 300

This is only true in the beginning. All that auto-haggle does is eliminate the trial-and error involved in finding the best prices. With auto-haggle enabled you automatically receive the best prices. It is no different than what you would have achieved by manually moving the slider yourself.

As your character's skills improve, so will the prices you get from auto-haggling.
