Quick Nifskope Question

Is it possible to offset the Biped nodes/rigging on an armor so that there's more room for higher heeled boots? Or would that run afoul of skeleton positions and/or all the animations?
I'm curious because I've got a great pair of heeled boots for the ladies, but the whole setup is rigged for combat boots and sits too low vertically to make them look right.
Thanks

that'll do nothing. those are bone references for skinning purposes only. not the actual bones.

Ok... so what I think you're saying is that a characters height from the ground is determined elsewhere. Where would that be? And what will it screw up if I alter it?

the character height from the floor is determined by the animations and/or skeleton.
everyone in the game uses the same skeleton.nif, if you alter it, you alter everyone in the game. same with animations more or less.

Ugh..
Thanks, that's a double whammy I'm not going to try tackling... the skeleton maybe, but not all the anims too.
I was thinking the anims were based on relative bone position in the skeleton, and one could possibly lift up the skeleton a bit and not have it skew the animations (except for things like sitting, where the feet might clip into the ground/floor).
