When I run the application, a black text box comes up and a bunch of scrolling text appears, but it moves way to fast for me to read. Then after a little bit, the box disappears. Is this what it is supposed to do?

Try running the batch file, that redirects the output to a text file.

Yeah that happened to me too, run the batch and look at the log, you'll get some detailed info.
