Ok this game runs like a champ on my pc (i5@3.3,gtx 460 1gb,8 gb ram) and I never experience lag at all.But when playing the game with fraps on,im usually in the 53-60 range but there are times like when just turning around causes a 30+ fps drop.I have seen it actually dip into the low 20's,yet I never get lag.Could this be fraps giving a false number?It isnt a problem,im just curious.

Also am I the only one who takes a 12-15 frame rate hit when enabling ambient occlusion on the performance setting?

Certain areas are simply more graphically demanding than others. This is the reason that you're seeing occasional drops in FPS. Don't worry, it's perfectly normal.
