Hey everyone,

I have the first question in the new thread ;)

I've created a looping patrol from a "CraftingTanningRack" to a "PatrolIdleMarker" and from there to a "CommonTableOneBench" and back again to the "CraftingTanningRack".

In the patrol data tab from the "CommonTableOneBench" I set the idle time to 5. But the actor everytime stays there about 20 seconds.. I don't understand it. I set the idle time to 0.5, but the actor still stays there about 20 seconds ...

Maybe somebody can help me with that ;)

It has to be blocking. Anyway, even if it's just a forcegreet (I mean just having it forcegreet thru the package, not necessarily marked as FG, though it does the same thing) it does the exact same thing.

That said, thank you for the suggestion - I'll try it out. ;)

I've tried it out. It doesn't actually open dialogue, but at least he stops walking away from you. This should work.

Does anyone know if, after inflicting damage upon HealRate, will that recover over time, or will I need to script the recovery?

I know that it won't persist past a save and restore - I can cope with that :smile:

@Doc,

How are you inflicting it? If it's via a MagicEffect with 'Recover', it will work just like a normal Health Damage effect--once the event is over, the damage will be done and it will be instantly restored to it's usual value. Are you sure it won't persist past a save and reload? I've never tested, but it seems like it should, since it's just an attribute like Health itself...

If you actually want it to progressively raise back to normal, though, you'll definitely have to script it (or keep re-casting slightly less effective versions of the damage effect).

check if you can still engage in dialogue with that actor afterwards.

if, in this setup, there's an unsaid topic left in your blocking branch, but no greeting, you likely wouldn't
