Quick stupid question : Othor Games

I have a question. Does anyone know if the retailer DLC is PRE ORDER?. Or can I walk into walmart at 12:01 and just pick up the DLC with the disk? Because Walmart does not do pre orders in store at all.

Really? I intend to get it at 12:01 at Walmart. So far no one from customer service in store or online knows whats going on. And Ive been tugged around so much its making me mad.

I do believe that the DLC stuff is pre-order only. From Gamestop you get the DOOM pack. From Best Buy you get the Fallout pack. I do not believe you get anything from Wal-mart though.

You get the "Spec ops package" However no where does it say " pre order" only at the walmart page It says

BUT you can not pre order at any walmart around here..so its super annoying.

My apologies. I had not realized that Wally world was giving out a bonus with the game. If that's the case I have no idea how you will get the DLC, the only thing I can think of is it might be a special code on the receipt, or a special code within the game box itself.

I was there today and saw a few games.

Halo reach had a "Walmart " Item with code inside

Splinter cell conviction had an item " Code inside"

Section 8 had a code " inside" So If this is the trend...

The Pre-Order versions which come in boxes usually have the code inside. So if a retailer can't sell all of them as Pre-Orders, they might end up with some spare ones which are sold like standard ones.

More than likely then, the code for the Spec Op's package will be inside the game case. So no need to worry about it. Wal-Mart loves to do crap like that. I think they get their jollies off from watching us run around freaking out wondering how we're getting our DLC code.

The guy at the walmart electronics department had no clue what the game was or what " DLC" was.
