160 strength? Skill points? What does this have to do with the topic?

If your looking for just a quick place to store your gear i think novac is the earliest.. just talk to the lady in the motel office i think the room is about 100 gold.

Okay, so your character can only carry 160 lbs. I would agree with Wasteland Liberator in saying that Novac is one of the best places in the Mojave.

A carry weight of 160 lbs means that you have only 1 Strength. Things might be very difficult for you if you are doing any sort of combat role.

Oh, you can only carry 160 pounds.

I thought he said he had 160 strength, as in the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

Also, Victor's shack is safe storage, so you could use that if you're really early in the game.

Thanks to you all! U guys make this a great forum- I ended up playing 85% of the main quest in fo3 with the terrible shotgun, assault rifle & waistland armour so I figured this way would keep me from obsesidly hoarding crap :-)

No problem.

The problem having a Strength of 1 would give in New Vegas is the strength requirement of weapons. There wasn't a Strength requirement in Fallout 3, but there are very few weapons you'll be able to use well. It'll definitely be a challenge.
