I'm looking to make this Elvin Battleaxe, and it requires a single Quicksilver Ingot, but I can't seem to find any, nor do the shops here in Whiterun sell it.

Is it mined from a vein? If so, where?

I have found 1 so far. there was a guy who asked me to go pick up an "unusual" ore sample for him in a small town in the middle of nowhere. when I got there, an old guy (sorry, don't remember any names...) gave me a sample of quicksilver ore, and asked me to clear some spiders out of his mine. unfortunately, the mine didn't have any more samples of quicksilver (just a few ebony pieces). I just did that this morning though, maybe later on they find more in that mine.

Hey, I've found a bunch. During the companion quests you have to kill the silver something that use silver weapons lots of them are carrying silver on them hope this helps! Good luck

Quicksilver is different from normal silver.

There is a quicksilver mine in a small village, the village has two mines but only one is quicksilver ore, I forgot the name of the place but it starts with a "d". Throw some names at me to jog my memory.

Anyone have a specific location?

Dawnstar has the Quicksilver mine on one side of town, with a smelter just outside.

Dawnstar has a whole mine you can get at least 10 out of I think, i did the same thing to make my elven sword.

Yep. It's basically right behind the houses.

Dawnstar has a mine in it, right near the dock, that only has Quicksilver ore veins. You will need a pickaxe to get the ore, and then you need to smelt it to make the ignots. There is a smelter right next to the mine entrance (the only one I have found thus far in the game).

The smith in Whiterun started selling them as soon as I got the level.
