I'm quite surprised at the amount of Enclave supporters ther

Human or no, most of what the Enclave consider to be not human have cognative abilities damn near humans. Also, the Enclave also kill Vault Dwellers on a pretty common basis (see: Vault 13) which was what Fallout made pretty clear just how damn noble The Enclave is.

V13 was contaminated by the time the Enclave arrived.

Yes... it was.

Deathclaws were infesting the area, the people inside the vault weren't actually from the Vault, and that's why they died.

That doesn't sound right. Look at F2s intro video.

Here's V13s history

Vault Dweller left after being booted by the overseer.
VD empathasizers left V13 to look for VD. With the VD they formed Arroyo
V13 kicks or kills overseer, and replaces him with a computer.
Enclave opens V13, kills family and captures VDs.
Intelligent deathclaws find V13.
Enclave finds intelligent deathclaws in V13 and slaughters them.

Oh, I thought he was refering to the other massacre.

I thought the President gave an explanation for that?

Look at President dike Richardson. He is the future. We. Are. Enclave! Never doubt the 'clave or we'll turn you into an ashpile.

I support them, because they're slightly misguided, but they're the best option. And Brotherhood of Steel just want tech, not people.

When did the Enclave ever claim to be noble, Richardson says they didn't come to the desicion lightly but it had to be done.

Because that makes everything better right?

The fact that they massacred Vault Dwellers did piss even me off a little, in Fallout 2 they were arrogant and aloof and Vault 13 was just stock for them anyway. But in Fallout 3, after the Oil Rig, the way they just kill Amata is silly, they should have been trying to get into the Vault to use it as a stronghold and the repatriot the people back into America.

An explanation's an explanation, a reason's a reason, It doesn't make it better but at least you know why they did do it.

And what? I never saw amata die.

Its a really cool (in my opinion) random encounter and it sorta makes sense in some ways. What basically happens is you see Amata talking to two Enclave troopers and an Officer and they ask her the location of "her vault" which she gives via her pip-boy. The officer then coldy says "alright, thats all we need from her......open fire." He and the two troopers then procede to blast the crap out of her with plasma fire. (this only happens if you sabotaged the vault during the "trouble on the homefront quest".)

I always figured they killed her because Amata had been "tainted" by the wasteland. Not only that but they were angry with Vault 101 for refusing their offer of joining the Enclave.

I... I've never seen that, Is it possible to interfere or are you forced to watch her die?

I hope they make a reference to that of which cannot be spoken of in another DLC by making mention of a "Holodisk" that ruined a series of information tapes.

There isn't enough bullets in the game for me to kill every damn annoying character in that game.

"Will you deliver a letter for me?"
*gunshot*
"Will you collect scrap metal even though it's all over the place?"
*gunshot*
"TALON COMPANY!"
*gunshot, it was going to happen anyways"
