Qustion on being able to select perks : Fallout: New Vegas

Does anyone know if the game will allow you to do this.

Start with SPECIAL 7365865 Percetion=3
Add Trait - 4 Eyes plus add Eye Glasses Perception=6

1. Can I at level 7 select "Friend of the Night" perk requiring Perception=6? Of course the SNEAK will be 30+.
2. If I can, will it just disable it when I take off the glasses, or do I loose it forever?

Start with a strength of 7, a perception of 3, an Endurance of 6, a Charisma of 5, an Intelligence of 8, an Agility of 6 and a Luck of 5 (Perception=3)
With the 4 Eyes trait and glasses this will set my Perception to 6

(this is incorrect, if you wear glasses your perception will be 4)

to answer your question, your base perception will be 2 for as far as perk requirements go, so no. You cannot take the Friend of the Night perk.

At level 7 you cannot choose a perk anyway, perks are every 2 levels, on the even ones.

Anyway, above poster got it. Four eyes is good for general use but terrible for perks, you essentially lose a SPECIAL in order to get a couple of skill points and a mild bonus which is overshadowed by, say, EDE's ability.

Don't recommend.

Forgot about Ed-E perk also.
