Well...I can give you an idea, which would only be that there's a certain moderator here that goes by a certain name from the movie Bambi and has a bunny avatar. No one from bethesda has confirmed this afaik, so grain of salt and all that.

My guess is that it deals with the fact that bunnies are the only creatures in the game that have no attack/aggression. I have seen foxes attack, but never a bunny.

It would be cool if it did something hidden. I feel like it's way too pointless to not.

For whatever it's worth, the story she told me was that her name comes from her husband's online name, Bug Stomper (which I believe he got from Starship Troopers). She might have been pulling my leg, though.

There's also the story that was told about one time Todd was play testing the game. He turned around and saw a rabbit, unaware that someone had added them in. So he hit it, but didn't kill it. So he hit again and it died. Then he felt bad.

I don't remember where exactly that was from, but I suspect it comes from that.

One of my mage companions resurrected a rabbit during a battle with a few trolls. I wonder why she thought that an undead rabbit could turn the tide.

Maybe Todd hates rabbits. Elmer Fudd did.

It's a useless statistic, very much like the 'Jokes Told' stat in Oblivion. However, due to this stat, I actively hunt rabbits when I'm bored. :tongue:
