I've got two questions:
1. Now that I'm finally playing the game I met two orc marauders. Even though I use damage increasing mods to make battles faster they never lost any health it seemed. My char was level 3 with a decent sword and rather good blade skill and strength for that level, they were level 6, wearing iron armor. So I started to wonder. After checking their health by using the console I noticed they restore health very fast. So I checked the readme and saw that orcs have a power to regain health 3 points/second for 90 seconds. But these orcs did have this effect permanently - I'm sure that the battle lasted much longer than 90 seconds and they restored health all the time. It was absolutely impossible for me to kill them because whenever I needed to cast a heal spell or block they regained so much health that all the damage I dealt to them before was recovered. The only way to kill them was to use god mode so I didn't have to heal or block. Without damage enhancing mods (in my game everything deals about 2x damage) it would probably have been impossible to kill them even with god mode.
Is that how it is supposed to work? I'm sure the health regen will be less noticeable once I have Daedric weapons and a blade skill/strength of 100. But it seems a bit unfair to me that low level characters have no chance against orcs.
2. I altered the optional less starting health esp to fit my needs and I noticed that you changed two more settings than needed. While I understand that you changed the low level health setting to get rid of the silly 'game is easier for newbie adventurers' thing I'm not sure why you changed the other setting that now gives all NPCs twice as much health from endurance and strength. I want my fights to be quick and deadly so I changed it back to default. Is there any reason why this setting was changed?
EDIT: Arg...wrong thread, just saw race balancing project in the title using the search function here and thought it was the release thread. The new forum still confuses me a bit. I will now double post. Sorry for that.
