I'm starting a new Dunmer character to prepare myself for the upcoming dlc, and modeling him after the Morag Tong, though with Alteration and Illusion mixed in for giggles, with Paralyze and Invisibility foremost amongst my schoolgirl-like mirth

Anyway, I wanted to start a thread to see what people think are the best family names for each of the races, and maybe make a few suggestions for some Lore-Friendly families for my Dunmer to be descended from. Thanks!

Sarethi, Hlaalu, Indarys, Uvirith. All are good Dunmer surnames.

Altmer and Bosmer tend not to have family names. A few exceptions exist, such as the Direnni and Camoran dynasties.

Khajiit and Argonians never have surnames.

Orc surnames always start with Gro if they are male, or Gra if they are female (Grull Gro-Ghall if its a he, Grull Gra-Ghall if its a she)

Nords either have a title (the Strong, the Tall, the Bold etc.) or a surname consisting of two mashed up words, sometimes with a hyphen (Ironhand, Battleborn, Wind-Eye, etc)
