I got radiation poisoning in vault 34 and had to leave before getting an auto scan for Ceaser. How do I get protection so I can go back into the vault again. Also how do I get caps. Ive got hardly anything to cell and Doc Mitchelle wont fix me up for free.

To get caps, kill stuff, loot the bodies, then sell the stuff. For rad protection, find a radiation suit, the meds in the topic's name, and the perk Rad resistance.

Best place to raise some caps in a hurry is in the Fiend Territory. Kill some Fiends, loot them, sell the stuff.

P.S. Regarding radiation protection- Rad-X and Rad-Away can be bought at all doctors and almost every trader except the gun-specialized ones. They're cheap and common. Also, some types of apparel (Space Suit, Radiation Suit, Advanced Radiation Suit, Power Armors) grant radiation resistance, which slows down the rate at which you accumulate rads. Space Suit or Advanced Radiation Suit coupled with a T51 Power Helmet and a Rad-X gives you a total of 88% Radiation Resistance, which I think is the highest you can get.
