Rad-X is real!

Post » Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:29 pm

The U.S. Military is developing a true version of Rad-X, and its called "Ex-Rad" I wonder who came up with that name?

Google it and you will see that the pieces are falling into place...

Going to need a link because all google gives me is some computer company called Ex-Rad. Still I think I know what you are talking about. Its on the news, usa troops are taking it in Japan. Its some type of blocker, some type of iodine.

Nitpicking here but the new drug doesnt prevent radiation-damage like Rad-x.(Iodine tabletts do that already.)

No ,it repairs radioactive-damage just like Radaway, and thats is waaay cooler. :grad:

I stand corrected. The title should read "RadAway is Real!"

What if Fallout turns out to be prophetic?

If they got this based off of Fallout and they got other ideas that could help people from Fallout (ex: Vaults or stimpacks) then Fallout could win a Nobel Peace Prise. That'd be incredible! One of the most violent games I've ever played/liked winning a Nobel Peace Prize, what kind of screwed up world do we live in?

Very old news, but welcome... We talked about this over a year or two ago.
I wish we had it already and in vast quantity.

I see in this article they have given it a name. :tops:

obviously you dint read it...
" Ex-Rad that can give protection through DNA repair against otherwise lethal dosages of radiation. Ex-Rad, which is administered as an injection or orally, can be given either before or after exposure"

so i this case it can be seen as doin both

and also iodine does not prevent radiation sickness is decreases it from going to the thyroid.

im the :grad:
