Radcreatures

There were mutated (and talking) plants in FO2.

I don't know about talking, I was thinking more like maybe ivy vines that snake out of a central bunch and grab unsuspecting travelers.

Mutated Hummingbirds that are faster than you can track

Hummingbirds can already fly faster the your eye can follow, but I wonder what they would eat.

I hate ticks. My step dad got lime disease from one and I slowly burned it to death.

I want to see mutated gilas and tarantulas in New Vegas. Gilas are actually one of the few venomous lizard species on the planet, so the Radgila would be a nice decision for a new creature. And tarantulas are just [censored], without question. They would be like radscorpions, but more agile and they would have more biting damage.

BTW: Radiated cougars could be the new Yao Guai, giant mutated rabbits the new molerats (or just a new addition), and giant desert turtles could be a new food resources, like the brahmins in the Capital wasteland (cows cannot survive in a desert I think :D ).

Id like to see some PC vs Environment directly, as in collapsing buildings or large mutated blobs in alleys swallowing anything whole

RadWolverine

RadShrew

RadTasmanianDevil

All of the animals have VERY ferocious reputations and would make VERY formididable opponents. I skimmed through the list and didint see any of these, if previously mentioned consider this a second on the idea.

Exactly... everyone hates them and they would be scary if they grew to the size of a domestic cat...
Vote yes on radticks.

A RadOwl maybe? Usually found picking off Ants, MoleRats, RadRoaches.. There could be large owl pellots in the area that would contain junk, bones, and sometimes ammo.

Would like to see some other Sea / Water creatures besides Mirelurks, maybe an Evolved Shark (Mirelurks look like Evolved Crabs).

RadBats, just imagine having to fight off child sized bats in a dark cave...worse yet they can fly out of range of your attacks.

Here's what they should look like http://roberthood.net/blog/index.php/2008/03/31/probe-bats/

Did you know that there was once a giant species of Tasmanian Devil?

Cats are extinct.

Your really incorrect on that one, Mr. Hamdy makes a joke referring to irradiated cats having nine half-lives...they wouldn't know what a cat is if there weren't any left.

So a cat coulden't be radiated before the war?
And how do we know this robot hasn't been around for the last 200 years? He might've seen one during the first years after the Cold Winter.

And he could have known about cats through his programming, without actually seeing one.

Rad-Arachnids : Could have their own dwelling like the Yao Gui tunnels, where you'd find massive webs with a skeleton or body parts strung up in the web. Like the Rad Scorpion you would get a poison gland from it. They would have 8 distinctly glowing eyes.

Radspiders, thats a defo for me. Probably due to Fallout having horror elements to it, and arachnophobia being a very high phobia people have, it would be awesome to shoot some mutated tarantula between each of its 8 eyes. while on the subject of radcreatures, how about a radelephant? (elephant escaped from circus).

I would think that if a future game took place, you could alter the populations of the animals. I had lots of fun saving the gentle Forager Ants from their more aggressive cousins. And in the Broken Steel DLC, you have the Mirelurks in the Potomic dieing off because they can't adapt to the purified water.

Depending on your actions in certain quests, you could have the region devoid of Molerats, but three Deathclaws for every one person.

ORRRRRRR...you could have the occurence of creatures appearing diminish by going on a killing spree. You kill 30 Yao Guai, and then you have to search high and low to find them until their population is automatically restored in one in-game month. Wouldn't that make the game more challenging? You couldn't level up as fast because you wouldn't have an infinite supply of enemies to fight.

havent read the whole thing yet, but one thing to note, the mirelurk king is a mutated turtle. (according to wiki at least /shrug)
i would like to see cats. radcougar or something like that. maybe as a scaling (like radscorpion) enemy. like; large feral cat (like, twice the size of your big-ass kitty), mutated feral cat (generally a bigger, better version of the feral cat), and then mountain lion/cougar. and to top it off, major miniboss behemoth cat! :D
that and some other kinds of insects maybe... spiders, mantises, other things that would make you [censored] yer pants if it grew to the size of you...
