We don't know how Skyrim starts, and we don't know if guilds are still in.

Based on the vague info we have, we are a prisioner once again. Factions are in, we don't know about guilds, there is a chance of not having them, but we could also have them back.

Radiant AI overhaul really sounds nice, I am eager to hear more about the Radiant Story. Hopefully Bethesda pulls this one nicely and well done!

Ooh, good point. The Mages Guild is gone. I sure hope the Fighters and Thieves followed them. But it's not a TES game without factions.

Mabey your sentences could make sence if you added full stops, but as a whole that sentance sounds like a jumbled mess.

Synod and College of Whispers.

Fighters Guild must have vanished by now, mercenary guilds like the Blackwood Company might still be up and running.

The big Thieves Guild must be gone too, replaced by a bunch of small thieves factions.

Dark Brotherhood could be still present, they are very active all around Tamriel. But given all the chaos going around lately, they should have disappeared aswell. Leaving only small bands of assassin's scattered around.

Maybe we won't see proper guilds. But a bunch of small factions struggling to survive the fall of the Empire and the civil wars in Skyrim.

blackwood company was already made defunct in oblivion. guilds will be around but mages guild may not be there. there will be something for mages though. mages guild split up apparently. fighters guild will probably be togethr. i mean especially now u wont run out of people to fight. especially with dragons showing up. and war. u need mercenaries. uhh... assassin guilds wll be fine probably. except for the louder ones like commona tong and marong tong. but dark brotherhood was in the down low so i dont see them becming defunct. maybe im wrong idk. imperial cult will for sure not be there.

I just hope they name the guilds and factions a bit less childish this time around. The College of Whispers and the Synod are all way more impressive than the Mage's Guild...

Hopefully there's the legion as a joinable 'faction' and not just for npcs. Despite what people say, if skyrim is still a province of the empire than there must be a legion presence in skyrim

Thing is, the Empire has fallen. All that is left of the Empire are the ones who were loyal and still are to it.

Those are fighting in the civil wars, the Empire's "lovers" versus the "haters".
