Radiation in Dead Money

Post » Tue May 13, 2014 7:18 pm

I'm planning to run a deadly rad poisoned Rad Child character into Dead Money, so I can more freely explore the place without having the gas bothering me. The last couple times I've played DM I was on HC so I got radiation from food, so I plan to turn off HC for this run so I don't have to eat food.

Besides from food, is there any place at all in DM that contains radiation? Explosions and enemies' attacks also count. Thanks!

IIRC you pick up radiation drinking from toilets or sinks outside of the casino itself.

Or does that only work on HC? It's been so long since I played non-HC that I can't remember. :ermm:

Toilet water outside of the casino is radioactive on and off HC, but I won't need to drink them since I can't get thirsty and health won't be a problem. I'm more worried about radiated fog or the likes (I know that the Cloud itself isn't radioactive)... though I'm pretty sure Ghost people's attacks aren't radioactive.

I haven't been throughout during my last couple runs, because I was simply trying to stay alive! I just want to make sure there aren't any hidden radioactive spikes that can send my character over the edge. (At the moment he's literally 20 Nuka Colas away from death).
