Howdy all , i just have a quick question if you do not mind.

When in sneak mode if you have a radio station playing does this effect how stealthy you are. I guess, if i can hear the pip boy radion playing say GNR and i am in sneak mode does this allert enemies in the vacinity or is the sound just something the player can hear?

This has been asked before, and I think the consensus is that the radio does not increase your chance of being seen.

That's also been my experience, the radio does not factor into the the sneak calculations.

I guess the PiPBoy is wired directly to your character's auditory neurons.

The guide says to switch off your radio when sneaking.

Gonna call that guide wrong. Switch off your pip-boy light while sneaking. Bethesda has not penalized the player for utilizing an in-game feature that they have provided. I turn off the radio when sneaking because I can hear things creeping around better.

Usually what i do as well because i am in hunt mode, but i was not sure and i got mixed results when i tried to test this for myself. Thanks for the help guys i think i will just creep in silence it does seem to work better anyway if nothing more than i can hear the foot steps of my prey.
