So how much more information are we going to get over the next 11 weeks until Fallout 4 is released?

They have said that no more information will be given on the main quest.

I know they have the short clips on each Special Stat.

When are they going to release to the internet some F4 gameplay footage?

I don't see why they don't release the perk chart.

Just trying to pass the time. ;)

To be honest, it's been...how long since Gamescon? They said they'd release the footage from Quake-Con after that show, and we're still waiting. There's a few blips here and there on Youtube, but nothing substantial.

Besides chewing the fat here to pass the time...and working...because games cost money yo...I have a pretty extensive library of steam games that need a little TLC in the mean time.

I remember Peter Hines stating that the dev team finds it very straining to take time off from the actual game to create demos for public viewing, so I honestly assume that beyond giving us the proper, official showing of the Quakecon/gamescom demo and the SPECIAL videos, we not gonna see any more videos, most focus will be on online articles and interviews.

I've put in 120ish hours of FO3 since E3. I'd prefer they didn't show off too too much more since I do like for most of it to be "woah" moments, which I'm still finding some in FO3

They really don't need to show much, back in the day you were happy to get a page in a magazine.

It's the new generation of wanting it all now, we'll get something closer to release I'm sure but people always ask for to much.

I was recently talking to someone about being a kid and only having the back of the box and maybe a TV commercial to go on. Actually I think back then, which for me was NES and Sega Master System days, only the first party or really big games got TV commercials.

However let's not forget that in those days you probably ended up with some horrible games too. As a kid you wouldn't be anywhere near as critical, and most of the time it probably wasn't your money. But transport that situation to now, having very little info can be a recipe for disappointment and regret.

I think it's OK for some people to want a lot of information. It's mainly about timing because you could wait until after release and have loads of information to go on, but yeah people are excited and want to play ASAP too. It's a balancing act, for both the marketing people and the gamers.

I don't think it's a new generation issue, nor do I think back in the day was always better .
